- The applicant must have necessary processing, grading, and packing equipment.
- Access to an AGMARK-approved laboratory is mandatory. An NGO/business can either own a lab or have a formal agreement with a third-party approved lab.
- A qualified chemist must be appointed to supervise the grading and marking process.
- The processing site and packing containers must maintain strict hygiene standards as per DMI guidelines.
